Most residential weight loss programs quote a weekly rate, and that number is hard to judge on its own. A week that includes your room, every meal, several hours of coached training a day, and lab-style testing is a different purchase from a gym membership and a meal kit. This guide walks through what a stay at Fitness Retreat costs, what the weekly rate covers, what can raise or lower it, and the expenses that sit outside the program fee.
What a Week at Fitness Retreat Costs
Fitness Retreat prices its residential program by the week. As of October 2026, the published rate for the Retreat Roommate Package, which includes a shared room and shared bathroom, is $2,590 per week, marked down from a regular rate of $3,995. The two private-room packages are quoted by phone. Specials change, so confirm the current numbers on the pricing page before you plan around them.
Because the rate is weekly, the total follows the length of your stay. At the roommate rate, one week comes to $2,590, two weeks to $5,180, and four weeks to $10,360, before any add-ons or discounts. The pricing page does not list a separate rate for longer stays, so if you are planning three weeks or more, ask whether one applies. If you are still deciding on length, our guide to how long to stay at a weight loss retreat can help.
What the Weekly Rate Covers
Every package includes the same base program. The room is the main thing that changes from one tier to the next. Here is what the base program includes.
Testing. On arrival you complete hydrostatic body composition, Resting Metabolic Rate, and VO2 Max testing, plus a Styku 3D body scan. A weigh-in and body composition test is repeated every week of your stay.
Training. Five to seven hours of coached fitness each day, built from your test results and adjusted as you are retested.
Meals. A prescribed macronutrient meal plan, with meals measured to your protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets.
Education and coaching. Fitness and nutrition lectures, plus life coaching workshops on the habits that affect your weight.
Housing. Your room in the retreat housing for the length of your stay.
This bundling is what makes residential programs hard to compare on price alone. One program's lower rate may leave out the testing, meals, or housing that another includes. When you request quotes, ask for the list of what is in the weekly price, not just the number.
What Raises or Lowers the Price
Room type. The Roommate Package puts two guests in one room with a shared bathroom, each with a twin or full bed. The Private Retreat Package gives you your own room with a queen or full bed and a shared bathroom. The Ultimate Retreat Package adds a private bathroom and a king or queen bed. Only the roommate rate is published; the other two are quoted by phone.
Where you sleep. The Live-Out Program includes everything except housing, for guests who would rather arrange their own place. Fitness Retreat can also source a private villa if you want one. Both options are priced on request.
Add-ons. Optional extras include a Metabolic Stack upgrade, 25-minute private sessions for stretching, life coaching, nutrition, or personal training, 50- and 75-minute massages, cupping, and a private cooking experience. The pricing page describes add-ons as recommended but never required, and it does not list their prices.
Discounts. Active or retired military and first responders, teachers, students, and international travelers each get $100 off per week. Returning guests get 5% off their stay. The page does not say whether discounts can be combined, so ask if more than one applies to you.
Costs Outside the Program Fee
A realistic budget includes a few things the weekly rate does not cover.
Getting to Scottsdale. The program is in Scottsdale, Arizona, and travel is not listed among the inclusions. Budget for your flight or drive, and ask how arrival-day transportation works when you book.
Getting around and personal needs. Under the travel and illness policy, transportation is not provided outside scheduled activities, and guests fill any prescriptions at a local pharmacy on their own.
Travel insurance. Program fees become non-refundable and non-transferable once you check in. Fitness Retreat strongly recommends travel insurance that covers medical expenses and missed days, and links to a provider from its pricing page.
Time away. For many people, the larger cost is the time away from work and home rather than the program fee itself. Count it when you choose how long to stay.
Ways to Pay
Fitness Retreat offers a payment plan through Prosper Healthcare Lending, which you apply for separately. The site does not list the plan's terms, so compare its rate with your other options before you commit. Deposit amounts and cancellation terms before check-in are not published either, so ask about both when you book.
How to Compare Prices Between Programs
If you are pricing more than one residential program, line them up on the same terms.
What is in the weekly rate? Housing, meals, testing, and coaching, or only some of them.
How much coached training is there each day? A program with an hour of group exercise is a different product from one with five to seven coached hours, even at a similar price.
Is progress measured during the stay? Ask whether body composition is retested each week or only at the start.
What happens after you leave? Fitness Retreat graduates continue with Fit Culture, an app built from the data collected during the stay. Ask any program whether aftercare is part of the price or billed separately.

The Bottom Line
At Fitness Retreat's current published rate, a week in a shared room costs $2,590 and covers testing, meals, five to seven hours of coached training a day, coaching workshops, and housing. A private room, add-ons, travel, and insurance add to that total. Discounts and the live-out option can bring it down.
