When you’re feeling overwhelmed or emotional, how do you react when it's time to eat? I skip meals or try to stay strict with what I eat. I reach for my comfort foods — it makes me feel better. I eat even if I’m not hungry — I feel annoyed and frustrated. I stare at the fridge, unsure what I want, and end up eating random stuff.

How do you feel when your normal routine changes (like travel, holidays, or surprise plans)? I lose my rhythm and start eating more comfort food without realizing. I get anxious — I don’t like being thrown off. No plan = stress. I kind of drift. I never really had a plan to begin with. I get irritated — I had a plan and now it’s messed up!

What’s your biggest struggle with food and weight loss? I can’t tell what works for me — I keep jumping between plans. I feel like if I mess up once, I’ve failed. I put too much pressure on myself. I get mad when I don’t see fast results — then I sabotage everything. I’m good for a while, then something emotional happens and I go back to old habits.

How do you feel after eating a meal? Really good at first, then kind of ashamed or guilty. My thoughts start racing. I overthink it — was that too much? Too unhealthy? I always feel judged. Instantly regretful and annoyed at myself — like I lost control again. Confused — I don’t even know if I was really hungry or just bored. I zoned out while eating.

When you’re around other people and food is involved, how do you usually feel? I sometimes feel self-conscious or annoyed if I think people are watching what I eat. I get tense. I like to stick to my plan and don’t want anyone judging or messing it up. I feel more comfortable eating with people I care about — it feels safe. I mostly just follow what everyone else is doing — I don’t really think about it much.

How do you decide what to eat? I plan ahead. I measure, weigh, or track everything I eat. I say “screw it” a lot — if I’m upset, the diet’s off. I've tried to follow a plan but get lost or bored fast. I usually go with what I’m really craving in the moment — something that feels comforting.

Which one sounds most like you during a diet or program? I do okay until I feel sad or stressed — then I eat to help me calm down. I obsess over the details and fear messing it up. I get upset when it’s hard — I want results fast. I follow along while it’s laid out for me, but I struggle once it ends.

What do you wish someone could help you with most? Managing my frustration — and not blowing up my progress. Breaking emotional eating patterns and finding better ways to cope. Creating a routine I can actually understand and can stick to. Letting go of perfection — learning balance without losing control.
