Chef Jason was born and raised in New Bedford Massachusetts. A retired U.S. Army Infantryman. During a 2 year service break from 2004-2006 he received his A.S. In culinary arts from the Johnson & Wales University. He graduated in the top 5% of his class. He had to return to military service from 2006 to 2013 when in which he retired. During that time he remotely achieved his B.S. from J&W in Hospitality Management and From 2013 to 2021 he worked various positions in the hospitality field ranging from prep cook to food service director at hotels, resorts and senior living facilities. In my time as the chef here at Fitness Retreat, have gained so much extra knowledge to not only help clients but also help myself achieve a longer and healthier life. In my spare time I’m an avid sports fan and concert goer. I love to hike, travel and explore new food options out in the public market.

Melinda is a native to Washington state but decided to spread her wings and relocate to Arizona and work at Fitness Retreat! With her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University, her knowledge and passion are being applied to this real world setting. Recently being an exercise specialist in a cardiac rehab facility, she can establish helpful modifications to those who need them that come through our doors. She is intense but will help you see your true capabilities through the right lenses. Just like those who come to Fitness Retreat, she shares a personal journey of achieving her best self and self confidence and love.

Michelle is a passionate health and wellness coach specializing in weight loss. Through her own journey, she lost 180 pounds, guided by some inspirational coaches who helped her find the right path. Coaching with Fitness Retreat is her calling, and she truly enjoys guiding clients toward making long-term lifestyle changes.

Lisa has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. Her background includes roles as a personal trainer, PE teacher, group fitness instructor, water aerobics instructor, and spin instructor. Lisa has a great passion for living a healthy, active lifestyle and is dedicated to teaching and encouraging others to transform their lives through fitness.

Lisa began her own personal fitness journey at 25 years old, discovering the positive effects of weight training, healthy eating, and cardiovascular workouts. After the birth of her first daughter 21 years ago, she decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry. As a stay-at-home mom, she started training other stay-at-home moms in her small home gym. As her passion grew, she began working as a personal trainer at the local Jewish Community Center
