1989
The Beginning
I started my career as a trainer — laying the foundation for what would become three decades of innovation in fitness and transformation.

International Coaching
I had the opportunity to teach grappling to the German National Jiu Jitsu Team, bringing U.S. performance tactics overseas.

1994–1995
Training With Champions
I trained athletes at the highest level — working alongside Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle in wrestling, and training with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

1996
Early Competition Wins
I placed 4th at the Pittsburgh Championships and 3rd at the New York Championships in bodybuilding — fueling my drive to keep pushing further.
How It All Began
I grew up in the world of athletics — competing at the collegiate and semi-pro level and pushing my body as a bodybuilder. What I saw were two extremes: in the military, it was endless cardio with not enough focus on strength training; in athletics, there was precision training at the highest level, but reserved only for the chosen few. Both had value. Both had power. But both were missing the full picture.
Then I came across Dr. Peter Lemon’s groundbreaking research on protein, and it shattered the old rules. He proved that protein needs must scale with lean muscle and training intensity, not just body weight. That discovery unlocked something revolutionary: the ability to burn fat while protecting and building lean muscle — if you had the right system.
That’s when it hit me. If I could merge the grit of training, the precision of data, and the science of nutrition into one accessible system, I could give everyday people the same edge as elite athletes.
That vision became the foundation of Fitness Retreat.
Camp Technique — Marina del Rey
I launched Camp Technique on the beach in Marina del Rey—LA’s first boot camp blending sport-specific training and coaching. That spark grew into the foundation of Fitness Retreat.
Media & Momentum
TV features, LA Magazine’s “201 Things,” and Sony naming us the best way to work out. I trained celebs and teams while sharpening the live-in model that was coming.
The Live-In Leap
I made transformation immersive: Live In Fitness—nutrition, training, mindset, and accountability under one roof. Not a weekend fix—real life change.
Fire. Resolve. Rebuild.
The day our Dr. Phil feature aired, our facility burned down. I signed $60k in clients at the Starbucks across the street and rebuilt in 3 weeks. Resilience became our DNA.
Stars & Systems
I prepped artists for the Grammys, engineered pro-level nutrition, and built Fit Club TV—turning the blueprint into a repeatable system.
National Stage
From GQ and OK! to coaching A-list talent, we expanded to Hilton Head and Laguna. The method scaled without losing precision.
Breakthrough Results
On The Doctors, my client Jermaine lost 303 lbs in a year. We launched Fit Culture apparel and Fuel to support results beyond camp.
Reinvention
Hurricanes. Pandemic. We moved to Arizona, kept clients progressing, and I published The Blueprint Method so anyone could follow it anywhere.
A New Era
We opened an open-air hangar facility, relaunched Fit Club TV, reached millions with Will Tennyson, and launched the Fit Culture Academy.
Expanding the Movement
The Fit Culture App unifies training, nutrition, and mindset. Fitness Retreat remains the gold standard for lasting transformation.
